Abstract

Abstract An implantable intraluminal device includes a multilayer composite tubular device supporting one or more stents between the layer thereof. A first porous elongate tube includes an exterior surface and an interior luminal surface. A radially expandable member is disposed about the exterior surface of the first tube. A second porous elongate tube is disposed concentrically over the first tube and is secured thereto so that the radially expandable member is longitudinally immobilized therebetween.

Claim 1
Independent Claim 135 words
An implantable intraluminal device comprising: a first porous elongate tube having first and second opposed ends, said first tube having an exterior surface and an interior luminal surface; a second porous elongate tube disposed concentrically over the first tube and secured to the exterior surface thereof; and a radially expandable stent disposed between said first and second tubes and being longitudinally immobilized therebetween by securement of said first tube to said second tube and wherein said stent comprises an elongate element with a first end and a second opposed end, said elongate element being formed in a generally circular configuration with said first end immediately adjacent to and overlapping said second end and wherein said first end of said element is moveable with respect to said second end of said element to effect radial expansion.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 135 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 16 words
The implantable intraluminal device of claim 1, wherein said radially expandable stent includes a longitudinal expanse.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 20 words
The implantable intraluminal device of claim 2, wherein said radially expandable stent is expandable without change in said longitudinal expanse.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 14 words
The implantable intraluminal device of claim 1, wherein said stent is a bio-compatible metal.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 27 words
The implantable intraluminal device of claim 4, wherein said bio-compatible metal is selected from the group consisting of stainless steel, platinum, gold, nitinol, tantalum and alloys thereof.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 15 words
The implantable intraluminal device of claim 1, wherein said first and second tubes are bio-compatible.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 18 words
The implantable intraluminal device of claim 6, wherein said first and second tubes are made from expanded polytetrafluoroethylene.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 20 words
The implantable intraluminal device of claim 1, wherein said stent is placed adjacent one of said first or second ends.

Claim 12
Dependent Claim 19 words
The implantable intraluminal device of claim 1, wherein said second tube is secured to said first tube by fusion.
Claim 13
Dependent Claim 19 words
The implantable intra-luminal device of claim 1, wherein said second tube is secured to said first tube by lamination.
Claim 14
Dependent Claim 150 words
An implantable intraluminal device comprising: a first porous elongate tube having first and second opposed ends, said first tube having an exterior surface and an interior luminal surface; a second porous elongate tube disposed concentrically over the first tube and secured to the exterior surface thereof; and a radially expandable stent disposed between said first and second tubes and being longitudinally immobilized therebetween by securement of said first tube to said second tube and wherein said stent comprises an elongate element with a first end and a second opposed end having an elongate open-ended channel, said elongate element being formed in a generally circular configuration with said first and second ends of said elongate member being in radial alignment to each other, and wherein said first end of said element can be inserted into said open-ended channel of said second end for movement therein upon radial expansion of said stent.
Claim 15
Claim 16
Dependent Claim 156 words
