Abstract

Abstract An inflatable medical dilation balloon and methods for forming the same wherein the balloon member is comprised of a polymer bled including a predominant amount of a crystalline polymer, e.g. a polyester, and a compliance enhancing additive polymer, e.g. a polyolefin, in amount sufficient to interrupt the crystalline structure of the crystalline polymer. The amount is about 20% or less of the polymer blend. The balloon member formed of the polymer blend is inflatable for medical dilation, e.g. of the prostrate.
