Independent Claim
71 words
A composition suitable for producing a medical device which in use comes into contact with blood consisting essentially of a polyurethane, a fatty acid ester and an alkoxysilyl crosslinking agent which contains at least two methoxysilyl, ethoxysilyl, propoxysilyl, or butoxysilyl groups and at least one amino group, the cross-linking agent being present in about 0.1 to 5% by weight of the polyurethane, the device produced therefrom being antithrombogenic, non-calcifying and elastic.
