Abstract
Abstract Assay for a ligand wherein the ligand is contacted in a fluid with (1) labeled binder or (2) binder and labeled reference ligand, and the presence of ligand determined from the movement of labeled material in at least one region of the fluid. In a particular assay, the label is a fluorescent material and ligand is determined from a change in fluoresence-time relationship in a region of the fluid.
