Abstract
Abstract Prosthesis rod 5 intended to be inserted into a bone, consisting of a shaft 6, at whose external periphery a thread 7 is cut, characterised in that the lower end of the rod 5 comprises four successive separate portions which are connected without any discontinuity, namely in the following order: - a first portion 8 which is threaded 7 in which the depth of the thread 7 is constant; - a second threaded portion 12 in which the depth of the thread 11 progressively decreases to nothing; - a third cylindrical portion 13 which is not threaded; - finally, a fourth rounded portion 14 forming the end proper.
