Abstract
Abstract A silicone/DACRON (16, 18) composite vascular graft (10) especially well suited as an arteriovenous (A-V) graft fistula for dialysis application. Distinct uniquenesses include the ability to seal around needle puncture holes without externally applied pressure, excellent anti-kink, anti-crush and strength properties, and a smooth non-porous inner surface which reduces thrombus deposition and enhances the graft wall compliance or elasticity.
