Abstract
Abstract An immunochemical assay of human carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), comprising the use of an antibody supported on a carrier and an antibody labelled with peroxidase by coupling by means of a compound of the formula: ##STR1## wherein n is an integer of 0 to 5 and R is a chemical bond or a divalent 6-membered cyclic hydrocarbon residue, in which at least one of said antibodies is a monoclonal antibody. The assay can be conducted with high sensitivity by simple and easy operation in clinical laboratories.
