Abstract

Abstract A photopolymerizable composition which comprises at least one ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable monomer, at least one selected ketone and at least one organic peroxide. The compositions are useful in the preparation of adhesives, paints and varnishes particularly in dental applications and exhibit reduced air inhibition on being cured by visible radiation in the range 400 mμ to 500 mμ.
