Abstract

Abstract An aluminum flake pigment composition for paint, containing 100 parts by weight of aluminum flake particles, 1 to 7 parts by weight of dimer acid, 0.5 to 14 parts by weight of aliphatic amine and other additives known in this art. The incorporation of the dimer acid enhances the color purity, metallic luster and anticorrosion property of a metallic paint containing the same composition and the incorporation of the aliphatic amine prevents the agglomeration of the aluminum flake pigment particles in the same composition.
