Abstract
Abstract A method of forming a hydrophilic urethane prepolymer comprising the steps of reacting an isocyanate compound to a hydrophilic polyether or polyester compound which has been heated to such a temperature that the temperature of the reactants after addition of isocyanate is at least as high as about 120° C. The resulting urethane prepolymer may be reacted with water to form a cellular urethane polymer.
