Abstract
Abstract The present invention provides a method and apparatus suitable for the deboning of materials such as fish and meat products which contain soft fleshy matter and boney components. The apparatus and process provide an improved separation of the boney components and fleshy material and is adapted, in one embodiment, to do so prior to comminuting the material. The invention also includes a novel foramenous housing and a novel process wherein the rate of processing of the material is independent of the rate at which the material is fed to the apparatus.
