A composition for application by aerosol to a polyolefin surface consists of about 1- 5 weight percent of an ultraviolet protectorant comprising a 2-hydroxy benzophenone and a benzoate ester, about 0.5-5 weight percent of a binder comprising a poly(C 1 --C 6 alkyl)methacrylate, about 50-80 weight percent of solvent comprising methylene chloride, acetone, n-butyl alcohol and cyclohexanone, and an inert aerosol propellant.
