Abstract

Abstract A diagnostic test device comprising an absorbent medium and a reaction zone located between superposed sheets. The fluid containing the substance to be analyzed is placed on the absorbent medium. Compressive force is applied to the absorbent medium providing a predetermined quantity of fluid to the reaction zone where reagents are located to react with the substance to provide a colorimetric determination of the presence and/or concentration of the substance.
