Abstract
Abstract Apparatus for precision temperature measurement in which a temperature measuring resistor or thermocouple is used as a temperature sensor. Such temperature sensor is also used as a standard instrument for the interpolation of, for instance, the temperature range between the defined fixed points of the International Practical Temperature Scale (abbreviated-IPTS, or EIPT in France). The signal from such a sensor is represented by a high order polynomial of a variable as the function of the temperature.
