Abstract

Abstract Disclosed is an improved header system for an electronic package of the type used to support and enclose integrated circuits, for example, which system advantageously provides omni-directional heat dissipation characteristics through the novel utilization of a plurality of spaced members that are secured to and protruding from at least one surface of the main body of the header system and are in the flow path of a fluid coolant.
