Abstract
Abstract Method and apparatus for remotely indicating whether a piezoelectric transducer is properly connected in circuit and in an operable state. An input pulse is applied to the transucer and a resulting response above a predetermined threshold level drives an indicator to show the integrity of the transducer apparatus. Special digital counting techniques are used for rejecting spurious noise responses and insuring that indications of operability are truly reliable.
