Abstract

Abstract A detection and classification system utilizing a transmitter to generate a successive series of unipolar pulses which are then radiated into propagation space by a directional radiator; a receiving system to detect with an antenna and amplifier the especially distinctive low-frequency returns which are then filtered, processed and recorded in order to reconstruct and thus to classify the signal returns.
