Abstract
Abstract A BASE IN THE FORM OF AN ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE CYLINDER IS PROVIDED WITH A SCREEN OF ELECTRICALLY INSULATED SPOTS TO FORM A DESIRED PATTERN. THROUGH AN ELECTROCHEMICAL PROCESS, A METALLIC LAYER OF THE DESIRED THICKNESS IS DEPOSITED UPON THE BASE BUT THE SPOTS REMAIN UNCOVERED WITH METAL. THE OUTER DIAMETER OF THE BASE CYLINDER IS REDUCED TO FACILITATE THE REMOVAL OF THE METAL LAYER THEREFROM. THE METAL LAYER WILL BE THE DESIGNED STENCIL.
