Abstract HAIR IS APPLIED TO A SCALP AREA SUBSTANTIALLY DEVOID OF HAIR BY SURGICALLY EMBEDDING IN THE SKIN OF THE SCALP A PLURALITY OF ANCHOR POINTS ADJACENT THE MARGIN OF THE BALD AREA AND THEREAFTER COVERING THE AREA WITH AN OPEN-MESH GRIDWORK SECURED TO THE ANCHOR POINTS, THE GRIDWORK SERVING AS A BASE TO WHICH HAIR IS ATTACHED IN AN AMOUNT SUFFICIENT SUBSTANTIALLY TO CONCEAL THE SUBJACENT SCALP AREA.
