Abstract A DIGITAL COMPUTER SYSTEM GENERATES TIME SERIES TURBINE VALVE POSITION SETPOINT CONTROL WORDS WHICH ARE CONVERTED TO ANALOG VALUES AND MULTIPLEXED FOR APPLICATION TO TRACK AND HOLD CIRCUITS ASSOCIATED WITH RESPECTIVE ELECTROHYDRAULIC TURBINE VALVE POSITION CONTROL LOOPS. DURING MANUAL OPERATION, A MANUAL CONTROL APPLIES A SETPOINT CONTROL SIGNAL TO ALL OF THE TRACK AND HOLD CIRCUITS IN PARALLEL. A READ MULTIPLEXER KEEPS THE COMPUTER UPDATED ON VALVE POSITIONS DURING MANUAL CONTROL.
