Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to a catheter comprising a base body which is in the form of a flexible tube and has a proximal end and a distal end and at least one balloon member which is arranged in the vicinity of the distal end. Via a lumen in the base body, this balloon member is in communication with a connection member at the proximal end. A thickened section is arranged on the base body in the vicinity of either end of the balloon member, and a compressed stent is arranged around the balloon member and between the thickened sections.
