Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain an information reproducing system with high reliability and durability without damaging an information recording media by using the coherent light, reflecting each rays of light to branch the light, interfering and obtaining the signal. CONSTITUTION:Concave and convex bits 8 and 9 are set to lambda/4 and information recording media 7 are shifted in the direction orthogonal to a light flux 4 as shown in an arrow mark Y. At such a time, so that the condition that the luminous flux 4 is made incident on the concave or convex bit can go to be the prescribed bright or dark interfering condition, the difference of the light path length between the luminous fluxes 4 and 5 is set to NXlambdaX4 (N is an integer), accompanying the shifting in the Y direction of an information memory reproduction 7, the light path lengt of the luminous flux 4 is increased and decreased by lambda/4 and therefore, the luminous flux strength to make incident on a light detecting device 11 changes the strength corresponding to the concave and convex of the bit and is outputted as the change of the electric signal by a terminal 12. The bit information converted to the electric signal is inputted to a signal processing circuit, for example, used as an audio signal, a video signal and a digital data signal.
