Ultrathin motor
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To contrive to make a motor thin without deteriorating its performance by a method wherein a sheet material is processed by stamping to form a ring projecting part extending in the direction of thickness, two sheets thereof are put together back to back to make a stator core and said core is mounted with a shading coil. CONSTITUTION:A stator core 141 is constituted by putting two sheets of element 141a together back to back. Said element 141a is made by processing an ordinary rolled steel sheet or a silicon steel sheet by stamping to form a ring projecting part 141a-1 extending in the direction of thickness of sheet material. A cut out part 142a-2 is formed to the ring projecting part 141a-1, said cut out part is mounted with a shading coil 16 so that shading coil flux may effectively work. The projected width of said projecting part is designed to be a value 1/2 of the core part 186 thickness l of the rotor 18 or near thereto. Further the flat face part 141b is wound about by the stator coil 142. Thereby the small-sized shaded motor can be made thin.
