Radiation-curable resin and recording medium prepared by using same
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a polyurethane diacrylate resin excellent in curability, adhesion to substrate and mechanical properties by mixing two resins of glass transition points each in a specified range with other materials and reacting them together. CONSTITUTION:This radiation-curable resin is obtained by reacting an active hydrogen group-terminated resin of a glass transition point >=20 deg.C with another active hydrogen group-terminated resin of a glass transition point <=20 deg.C, a polyisocyanate compound and a compound having at least one (meth)acryloyloxy group and at least one active hydrogen group in the molecule and, optionally a low-MW polyol and/or a polyamine. This resin excels in curability with radiation and adhesiveness to substrate and mechanical properties and can be used in many uses such as radiation-curable adhesives, coating, inks, paints, binders of magnetic recording media, primers, resist materials, etc.
