In a hose coupling comprising a nipple 6 and an annular member 2 rotatably mounted in a coupling part 1, the member 2 has portions, such as projections 4, 5, for co-operation with por. tions, e.g. grooves 14, 15, of the nipple whereby relative rotation between the member and nipple is prevented wher the nipple is assembled with the part 1.
