Abstract 3540. Lapworth, F. March 5. Hook fastenings for driving-belts of motor-cycles &c. Two clips a are each formed with two parallel slots to receive a pair of hooked connecting-links c, which engage joint-pins d. To secure the pins d, the middle portion of each clip is pressed into a reduced neck d<1> ; the ends of the pins may also be reduced in thickness. The hooks are either both attached permanently to the same clip, or one to each clip.
