Abstract
Abstract Metal laminates obtained by hot pressing a layer of metal onto a metal substrate characterised in that at least one of the metals is a gp. IVA or VA element, or a Pt metal. The assembly is heated in a vacuum to between 700 degrees C and the melting pt. of the lower melting metal and the pressure is >20 bars. The products may be used as electrodes in electrolysis.
