Implantable catheter with a vein clamp
Abstract
Abstract Implantable catheter with a clamp (11), designed in the shape of a container throttle, at the point of a catheter tube (1). The arms (13, 15) of the clamp are connected to one another in a pivoting manner at one end, and their other ends are able to be placed in contact with one another, so that between the arms a space is available. One arm is provided with an inflatable balloon (12) which forms on the inside the end of the catheter tube (1), the balloon, in the inflated state filling the space between the arms (13, 14) of the clamp. From the ends of the arms (13, 14) of the clamp (11) which are not connected to one another, outwardly bent protrusions (17, 17a) extend, a locating pin being arranged on protrusion (17), which engages in a bore in protrusion (17a) and enables locking of the clamping arms to one another.
