Abstract 1. Carbon fibre reinforced carbon screw comprising a cylindrical core being reinforced by layers of carbon fibres, the generated surface thereof being dissected by a helical wound groove forming the base of the screwthread and reinforcing carbon fibres within the groove and the thread extending parallel thereto.
