Abstract
Abstract In order to facilitate the provision of electrical insulation in the region of the tool holder in a sleeved surgical instrument, consisting of a tube on the end of which is releasably fitted a tool holder and incorporating an actuating component fitted so as to be longitudinally movable in the tube to move the tool, electrical insulation being provided for the tube and the holder, it is proposed that the holder consist entirely of an electrically insulating material.
