Abstract There is disclosed a catheter system comprising a flexible tubular probe (11) adapted for introduction to a vessel via an outlet therefrom, characterized by having an insertion end (12) which, after insertion into the vessel, is formed into a loop whereby to retain the probe against expulsion from the outlet.
