Abstract Translated from English Un catheter de dilatation (14, 16) est pourvu d'un element a ballon (18) qui est reversible, peut etre retourne, et gonflable dans son etat retourne. Le catheter est pourvu d'organes relativement mobiles ressemblant a des elements de cylindres et de pistons comprenant un orifice (40) qui peut etre selectivement ferme pour empecher l'introduction d'un materiau de contraste dans le vaisseau sanguin traite et ouvert pour introduire le materiau d'injection de contraste dans le vaisseau sanguin. A dilatation catheter (14, 16) is provided with a balloon element (18) which is reversible, can be turned over, and inflatable in its returned state. The catheter is provided with relatively movable members resembling cylinder and piston elements including an orifice (40) which can be selectively closed to prevent the introduction of contrast material into the treated blood vessel and open to introduce the contrast injection material into the blood vessel.
