Abstract
Abstract An ablation catheter of the present invention includes a means for limiting a current and temperature at a target tissue site. The ablation catheter includes a tip electrode at its distal end, and a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) device between the distal end and a proximal end of the catheter. Both the PTC device and electrode are electrically connected via a conductor extending within the catheter.
