Abstract
Abstract This invention is a device for detecting and indicating a situation where an intravascular needle (1) has entered a blood conducting vein or artery. The device is to be connected to the distal end of the conduit which includes a female luer connector (2) while the device has a male connector (3). The device includes a sensitive pressure sensor (6) which responds to changes of pressure from the moment of entry of blood into the needle and activates a signal (8).
