Abstract

Abstract A camera includes a first motor, a second motor which differs in driving characteristic from the first motor, a first transmission mechanism arranged to transmit a rotation output in a first direction of the first motor to a driving system for film winding, a second transmission mechanism arranged to transmit a rotation output in a first direction of the second motor to another driving system for taking shots, and a changeover mechanism arranged to switch the transmission of a rotation output in a second direction of the first motor selectively to a driving system for film rewinding or to the other driving system on the basis of a rotation output in a second direction of the second motor.
