Abstract
Abstract A process for producing a composite material having a coating of a calcium phosphate compound on the surface of a metal substrate, said process comprising the steps of applying a coating solution of an organic calcium compound and an organophosphorus compound in an organic solvent to the surface of said metal substrate, and firing the applied solution to form a coated layer of a calcium phosphate compound on the surface of said metal substrate.
