Abstract
Abstract A disposable aspiration needle guide comprising a plastic guide channel or tube through which an aspiration needle may be passed attached to a planar flexible support having an adhesive coating on one surface thereof. The needle guide is adhesively attached along the length of the top or bottom of a physician's gloved finger. A pharmaceutically acceptable preparation of an antibiotic compound can be deposited in the interior of the tube to deliver a high concentration of antibiotic to a puncture site when an aspiration needle is inserted therethrough.
