Abstract
Abstract An imaging apparatus for an endoscope includes a TV camera which can be mounted on an eyepiece section of the endoscope, a VTR electrically connected thereto, and a manual switch formed on the TV camera to control the recording operation being performed by the VTR. When the TV camera is removed from the endoscope without the manual switch being turned, the recording operation of the VTR is stopped automatically by an ON/OFF switch.
