Claim 1
Independent Claim
79 words
An optically clear soft contact lens of a polyvinyl alcohol which is hydrolized to an extent of at least 93 mol percent and having a weight average molecular weight of at least 10,000 which is crosslinked with a dimensionally stabilizing effective amount of an organic multifunctional oxirane, such that the resulting lens has a water content between about 70 to 98 percent water, based upon the weight of cross-linked lens, and substantially retains its dimensional stability in boiling water.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
