Abstract

Abstract Ignition resistant carbonate polymers are made by incorporating a metal salt complex of polyether polyols into the polymer. The carbonate polymers are transparent with low haze and still have high ignition resistance. The ignition resistance can be improved by the addition aromatic compound.
