Abstract

Abstract A plastic dispersion of demineralized bone powder and reconstituted native atelopeptide collagen fibers in a continuous aqueous phase having a substantially physiologic pH and ionic strength is used to repair or construct bone by injecting or implanting it at the repair or construction site. Once emplaced the dispersion induces rapid and complete osteogenesis at the site.
