Abstract Novel nitrogen-containing monoterpene derivatives having pyrindine skeleton synthesized by, for example, substitution of an oxygen atom in an iridoid skeleton for a nitrogen atom as low toxic and efficient dyestuffs. Their pharmacological effects are expected.
