Abstract
Abstract A filled synthetic plastics cask is sealed with a cover and into the interior of which there projects a preformed flexible plastic film. The film is impermeable to liquid but permeable to gas and is disposed between the cover and the upper rim of the cask. The film is folded in the rim zone of the cover such that upper and lower capillaries are formed. The cask is virtually sealed tight against egress of liquid. But the upper capillaries permit the escape of gas which has penetrated from the contents through said plastic film.
