Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 9
Claim 1
Independent Claim 54 words
In a test method for the detection of antigens or antibodies of thrombocytes by the formation of immune complexes using thrombocytes as a diagnostic reagent, the improvement wherein said thrombocytes are tanned by suspending freshly-obtained thrombocytes in an isotonic, approximately neutral, aqueous solution containing a protective colloid and treating them with a tanning agent.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 54 words
In a test method for the detection of antigens or antibodies of thrombocytes by the formation of immune complexes using thrombocytes as a diagnostic reagent, the improvement wherein said thrombocytes are tanned by suspending freshly-obtained thrombocytes in an isotonic, approximately neutral, aqueous solution containing a protective colloid and treating them with a tanning agent.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 15 words
The method as in claim 1 wherein said tanning agent is sulfosalicylic acid or glutardialdehyde.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 14 words
The method as in claim 1 wherein said protective colloid is a lyophilic colloid.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 17 words
The method as in claim 1 wherein said aqueous solution additionally contains a chelating agent for metals.
Claim 6
Independent Claim 63 words
The method of tanning thrombocytes which comprises suspending freshly-obtained thrombocytes in an isotonic, approximately neutral, aqueous solution containing a protective colloid and treating them with sulfosalicylic acid at a concentration from 0.002 to 4 percent, at a pH of 6 to 8, at a temperature of 0° C. to 37° C., and for a time from a few minutes up to several hours.
Claim 7
Independent Claim 63 words
The method of tanning thrombocytes which comprises suspending freshly-obtained thrombocytes in an isotonic, approximately neutral, aqueous solution containing a protective colloid and treating them with sulfosalicylic acid at a concentration from 0.002 to 4 percent, at a pH of 6 to 8, at a temperature of 0° C. to 37° C., and for a time from a few minutes up to several hours.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 14 words
The method as in claim 5 wherein said protective colloid is a lyophilic colloid.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 27 words
The method as in claim 6 wherein said lyophilic colloid is polyvinyl pyrrolidone and is present in said solution at a concentration from 0.01 to 5 percent.
