Abstract A herbicidal and fungicidal composition which comprises as an active ingredient a pyridyltriazinone compound of the formula: <IMAGE> wherein R is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, an alkoxycarbonylmethyl group whose alkoxy has 1 to 3 carbon atoms or a phenyl group.
