Abstract
Abstract A premoistened disposable electrode has a flexible conforming base layer with an opening extending between its top surface and an adhesive-coated bottom surface. A flexible, resilient collar extends around the opening at the bottom surface of the base layer and a flexible, resilient gel pad is snugly received in that opening. The upper surface of the gel pad is contacted by a silver-plated plastic snap fastener eyelet which is press-fit into a conventional metal snap fastener stud, the two supported by a thin plastic sheet adhered to the top surface of the base layer.
