Abstract

Abstract This invention relates to an electrophotographic recording material comprising an electrically conducting supporting material having thereon a photoconductive double layer of organic materials, said double layer being composed of a homogeneous, opaque, charge carrier-producing dyestuff layer and a transparent top layer of insulating material containing at least one charge-transporting compound, the transparent top layer comprising a binder and a charge-transporting aromatic compound with an extended π-electron system which is substituted by at least one substituted amino group, and the dyestuff layer comprising a condensation product of an aromatic aldehyde and a compound carrying an active methylene group.
