Abstract
Abstract There are disclosed the novel bis(2,3-dibromopropyl) phosphonates as well as various processes for their preparation. These compounds are found to display excellent flame retardant properties when utilized as additives in a variety of flammable substrates, particularly synethetic resins and foams.
