Abstract

Abstract The present invention relates to new tablets for administration of medicaments, which tablets contain in their mass, controlledrelease microcapsules, that is to say elemental particles coated with a protective covering which contains an encapsulated product which is gradually released in a controlled, regular and timedependent way. These new tablets are characterised in that they are constituted by the association of a plurality of superposed layers of which the medial layer is essentially constituted by microcapsules containing an active substance, whilst the exterior layers constitute means of protecting the microcapsules of the medial layer, particularly against the shock of compression when compressing them to tablets. The invention also relates to a process for manufacturing said tablets.
