Abstract
Abstract A method and device for thermally controlling body functions. A thermally conductive element is situated in the interior of the body at a location where a change in temperature will regulate a body function, and the temperature of this element is controlled in order to regulate the body function. Thus, the device may include a thermally conductive element situated either in the uterus of a female or a vas deferens of a male for placing ova or sperm in a condition where they are incapable of producing a fertilized ovum.
